Hiking to the Ancon Hill

Our first hike on top of Panama Cities biggest hill...

So, let me tell you about our wild adventure in Panama City! The anchorage there is like a grumpy old man - not nice at all, and the area around is a total mess, like a frat house after a party. Our daddies are not fans of strolling there with us - they're like, "No way, Jose!" The locals seem to have missed the memo on garbage cans and just toss their trash wherever they please. Sara and I, being the curious souls we are, explore the world with our noses and mouths, basically taste-testing everything in sight. Our daddies try to lecture us, but come on, we're just innocent explorers!

One fine morning, Daddy Micha had a stroke of genius - let's Uber to Ancor Hill and hike to the top! We were all in for this brilliant plan, so off we trotted.

We started our journey with Little Samsara to the dinghy dock, dodging workers like we're in a game of hopscotch. Then we hopped into the Uber, driven by a not-so-sharp driver who took us on a scenic detour. After a joyride, we finally reached

the right spot. The trek began with a leisurely walk along an empty street, where we chased leaves like they were the last pizza slice. Next up, a never-ending staircase appeared - a real challenge for stair-climbing rookies like us. But hey, we nailed it! Onto the hiking trail we went, passing fellow hikers and eavesdropping on chatty monkeys.

Midway, we bumped into an anteater - picture a goofy critter with a nose longer than a Monday. It wasn't up for playtime, so we continued to a viewpoint overlooking the

city. Our daddies took a breather while Sara and I sipped on drinks and sniffed the air like little detectives. Reaching the summit, we were greeted by a giant flag and breathtaking views of Samsara, the Panama Canal locks, and a bustling container port. Sadly, no snack bar in sight, so after a while, we descended to a cozy bistro

for coconut water and a big bowl of H2O for us. Perfect timing, as a downpour welcomed us, prompting a speedy Uber ride back to Samsara.

We plopped down on the sofa, exhausted but content, with our daddies for a movie night. What an adventure - from garbage-dodging to monkey eavesdropping, we did it all! Can't wait for our next escapade!

It may be tough to hear, but getting my Dad to take new photos and post my ideas takes a lot of time and energy. If you'd like to reward efforts, how about a snack? I promise to share it with my furry friends at shelters and on the streets because sharing is caring! Thanks!
